Required for: All employers in the Agricultural industry within the State of New York.

This notifies all employees of agricultural business of the minimum wage requirements which, at the time of this publishing, is $10.40 per hour.

Building Service Industry Wage Order

Required for: All employers involved in the building service industry within New York.

The building service industry includes any person, corporation or establishment engaged in whole or in part in renting, servicing, cleaning, maintaining, selling, or managing buildings or building space, and all occupations, operations and services in connection therewith or incidental thereto.

Construction Industry Fair Pay Act (English)

Required for: All Construction Contractors Utilizing Independent Contractors.

This notices establishes that all workers must be classified as employees unless they meet 3 specific criteria, in which case they can be classified as independent contractors.

Required for: All employers in the Agricultural industry within the State of New York.

Required for: All employers involved in the sale of food or beverages within the State of New York.

Required for: All employers involved in the hospitality industry in New York.

This notice explains the minimum wage requirements for employers and employees in the hospitality industry.

Hospitality Industry Wage Order

Required for: All employers involved in the hospitality industry within New York.

This notice explains the mandate of a New York State law that affects things like mandates hourly rates, new hire notices, tip credit availability and many other topics specific to the hospitality industry.

Miscellaneous Industries and Occupations Wage Orders

Required for: All employers in miscellaneous industries and occupations.

The New York DOL has published proposed modified Wage Orders in the State Register, implementing changes to the existing Wage Orders based on the recently passed increase to the state minimum wage.

Tip Appropriation

Required for: All employers involved in the sale of food or beverages within the State of New York.

This notice informs employees that their employer may not demand or accept any part of the gratuities earned by the employee, with the exception of coat or hat check.

Non Profits Wage Order

Required for: All employers of a nonprofitmaking insititution which certifies it will pay the statutory minimum wage to each employee in lieu of being covered under a minimum wage order.

This notice explains the regulation applicable to each nonprofit organization which certifies it will pay the statutory minimum wage to each employee in lieu of being covered under a Minimum Wage Order.

Public Work Project Poster

Required for: All Construction Industry employers must post this on public work job sites.

This notifies employees engaged in a public works project as a worker, laborer or mechanic they are entitled to the prevailing wage and supplements rate for the classification at which they're working.

State Minimum Wage

Required for: All employers in the state of New York.

As the name suggests, this notice simply states the current state minimum wage for New York employees.

Paid Family Leave

Required for: All private employers and/or any business that is subject to the Paid Family Leave Act.

This notifies employees what qualifying events would make them eligible to file a claim for paid family leave, and how to go about the process. This law took effect on January 1, 2018.

Salon Notice

Required for: All employers operating a salon in New York City.

This notice is specific to salon employees and explains the minimum wage they're entitled to, as well as other worker protections such as workplace conditions and sick leave.
