Position Summary

Our Transition Service Representatives truly put the “welcome” in “Welcome to Payroll Country”. When a new client joins Complete Payroll, our award-winning transition team works closely with them to ensure that their onboarding process goes smoothly. An efficient, seamless transition is crucial to customer satisfaction, which is at the heart of every action we take in Payroll Country. Our new Transition Services Representative will share our commitment to providing a second-to-none experience for every client, every time. They will be highly organized, thorough, an effective written and verbal communicator, have a razor-sharp attention to detail, and be someone that everyone in Payroll Country loves working with!

Essential Functions

As Transition Service Representative you will be responsible for:

  • Organizing client information to assure accurate entry of Tax liabilities, employee demographics and year to date paycheck information
  • Enter general ledger from chart of accounts
  • Program time off formulas from client’s time off policy into payroll software
  • Client communication in a timely fashion to ensure every deadline is met
  • Uses effective problem solving skills to resolve data discrepancy issues
  • Able to provide and/or receive feedback from supervisor and apply constructive criticism
  • Follow documented company procedures to accomplish day to day work
  • Provide ongoing maintenance for current clients.
  • Provides support to the Transition Service Manager

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • High school diploma is required. Associate Degree or higher in Business related field would be an asset
  • Customer Service experience
  • Self Motivated and goal oriented
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving
  • PC literate, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction, quality service and detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work in a team environment as well as individually
  • Excellent telephone skills and Professional telephone etiquette
  • Sufficient skill to type and enter alpha and numeric data at the rate of 40 words per minute
  • Payroll Knowledge and/or Project Management experience are a plus

 

Working Conditions

The scheduled workweek is a 5-day workweek - hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a   30-minute lunch break. Pre-Approved overtime may be required.
